Weekly Update: Monday 06 October 2008

Happy Monday, Mariners.

• Troy Athletic Meet permission slips need to be turned in to CDR Bowles ASAP! We still need athletes to compete as well
• This Wednesday is Back to School Night. We are asking for volunteers to help direct parents.
• There are STILL people who need to turn in Physical Exam and Standard release forms. If not returned hastily, there will be consequences.

Hey Mariners, there is not much going on this week.

• This Wed 01 Oct 2008 is a uniform day. The uniform is Summer Blue. Officers and cheifs may wear Service Dress.
• Cadets, please make sure to attend all drill practices!!! They are mandatory.
• Sat 11 Oct 2008 is the Troy Athletics Field Meet. If you are competing in any of the events, make sure to show up on Fridays after school to the athletics practice.

Happy Monday Mariners, here are the reminders for the week:

• There will be no uniform day this week because this Wednesday is both picture day and a collaboration day.
• We still need donations for the picnic this Saturday at Peppertree Park on Chapman and Knott.The picnic will be from 12:00-15:00
• NS-1’s make sure to memorize your general orders from the field manual.

Happy Monday, here are the reminders for the week:

• Tomorrow we have drill practice behind the ROTC room right after school. Try and make it!
• This week we will be wearing the Summer Blue uniform. This includes NS-1’s. If you have any questions about how to wear your uniform, look in the field manual.
• Our beginning of the year ROTC barbeque will be next Sat 27 Sep 2008. Please try to bring donations such as hamburgers, hot dogs, drink, condiments, and etc.
• Our first major event is the Troy Field Meet which will be on Sat 11 Oct 2008. Sign up for different events in the ROTC room.

• This Wed 10 Sep 2008 is a uniform day for the upperclassmen. The uniform is Summer Blue.
• On Sat 27 Sep 2008 we will be having a welcome back barbeque/picnic. We will probably be getting a flyer about that later this week.

Hey Mariners,

Hope you all had a great Memorial Day Weekend.

Here’s what is going on this week:

• Tomorrow we will have a graded inspection by AC-1 and Commander.  It will count towards Battle of the Squads and the Platoon Olympics. The uniform is Summer Blue.
• Thursday and Friday of this week are the physical challenges of the Platoon Olympics.
• Next Wednesday is our Annual Awards Night. Parents are encouraged to come.

Weekly Update: 19 May 2008

HIYA MARINERS! Well, here it is:

• This THURSDAY will be a uniform day and Battle of the Squads will be judged.
• On May 27th, 28th, 29th, and 30th, we will be holding the Annual Platoon Olympics. The 27th will see a judging of Platoon Drill. The 28th will see a graded uniform inspection. The 29th and 30th will see a series of physical challenges.
• Our annual awards night will be on Wednesday June 4th. This year will be bigger and better than ever.
• Our annual End of the Year Barbecue will take place on Friday June 6th during 4th period and lunch.
